Cut a piece of 1/2 inch plywood the same size as your panel. With the four edges aligned, adhered the panel to the face of the plywood with construction adhesive.

Empty hidden compartment furniture with a scraper masonry wall behind the panel that you removed. Make a four-sided frame with 2×4 that fit within the outline of the panel you cut. Join the four corners with 3-inch screws.

Two fixed hinge part hidden from rear panel you removed from the wall along a vertical side. Add a magnetic closure spring wardrobe with the opposite side of the hinges . Metal plate placed on the part rear of the panel. Use the type of closure that is pushed to release the spring and the door opens.

Apply some construction hidden compartment furniture adhesive on the front panel. Align trim the edge, so that when the door is closed conceal the space between the panel and the edge around it.
